Have a Safe and Fun-filled Summer!

Parents and students,
As we conclude our 2008-2009 school year, we want to thank you for working with the Navarro Staff in making this a Rock and Learning Year! Now it is time to relax, but to continue learning in a more relaxed atmosphere. Remember to visit your public libraries, museums, and other learning facilities. Read daily and have fun with your family.

STAR Summer Reading Program

Our STAR Summer Reading Program kicks off June 4th (Thursday). We encourage everyone to read this summer. You can read newspapers, magazines, and/or books. Keep track of how many pages you read, write it down and turn them in to your teacher in August. Each page counts as one point. Take the form given to you by your teacher and have your parents sign it. Use a separate paper to record all your reading. We hope everyone will make time to read and record everything you read. Have a wonderful summer reading!
